DAC has 11 providers serving patients at two sites located in Lowry and Meridian, Colorado (greater Denver area). They are a leader in doing clinical and drug trials for rheumatology that offer a vast array of outpatient diagnostic services, combining convenience with the highest level of care. DAC’s technology includes on-site X-ray services to provide disease progression and to help identify appropriate therapies.

DAC was experiencing lags in production due to the fact they couldn’t efficiently share or distribute medical images, and they were still a film based clinic. In addition, the technology they used was nearing end of life. 7 Medical stepped in, and in a three phase approach took care of their workflow issues.

After installing 7 Medical’s PACS, the clinic averages 1,333 studies a month and is seeing substantial cost savings of approximately 39%.

Additionally, DAC benefits from a PACS solution that is backed by 24/7 support, with built in disaster recovery protection and HIPAA compliance. Implemented in March 2013, there are now 33 users from DAC and referring physicians comfortably using the PACS and web viewer.
