7 Medical wages “Penny War” to raise money for The Jimmy V Foundation

Employees Get Competitive to Raise Money for Cancer Research

MINNEAPOLIS – December 26, 2014 – This holiday season, the 7 Medical team was divided into three teams to compete in a “Penny War.” The object of this competition was to raise money for The V Foundation for Cancer Research. Each team had a jar in which to donate money. Pennies were worth one positive point, while all other coins and bills resulted in negative points.

The result was a great success. Jars were sabotaged with dollar bills (negative points) from opposing team members and local banks had their stock of pennies cleared out. After all the money was collected, the company matched the total amount raised, and the winning team won a free lunch. Please help 7 Medical by supporting the fight to find a cure for cancer.
